This study aims to determine the effect of different priming methods on viability and early growth upland rice under drought stress. Priming is an important approach improve resistance plants stress from germination phase growth, especially sub-optimal land. There are several efficient as seed pretreatment increase tolerance An effective method needed seedlings for application in dryland agriculture. Therefore, experiment was conducted at Seed laboratory Pangkep State Polytechnic Agriculture, Indonesia, September October 2022 investigate The consisted 2 stages, testing seedling with addition water treatment. Experiment 1 a completely randomized design (CRD) four replications, including Control (no priming), Osmopriming 15% 20% PEG solution, Redox 3% 6% H2O2 Organic using 50% 75% Moringa leaf extract. two-factor factorial Randomized Block (RBD) three replications. first factor Seedling results stage experiments (selected best each method) includes 4 treatments treatment, Leaf Extract. second level Drought Stress by 100%, 60%, 30% Field Capacity. showed that solution gave percentage (87.5%) followed Extract (SGP 85%). Under conditions field capacity, highest proline levels observed redox (10.3 µ-mol. g-1 ), while average root all primed better than seeds without gives physiological activities stress,
